Terms of service.

Aplateful is a service engine for multi-course table dining - course timing, wine and beverage pairing suggestions, reservation and table management, guest preference memory, and staff choreography. Access is provided on a subscription basis, per location or per group.

The restaurant is responsible for the accuracy of the menu, wine list, reservations, allergy information and staff account configuration it enters into the service. In particular, allergy records must be reviewed by the restaurant before being relied on in service.

We commit to running the service with reasonable care, keeping guest data confidential and encrypted, and giving honest and timely notice of any incident. We do not resell restaurant data, and we do not train shared models across accounts on guest records.

Fire times, pairings and pacing produced by the engine are recommendations, not instructions. The final call at the pass or on the floor rests with the restaurant's chef, sommelier and service leadership.

Guest data remains the restaurant's. We hold it as processor, under the privacy policy. On termination, guest data is exported to the restaurant and then deleted from Aplateful within thirty days.

We target continuous availability during service hours. Where planned maintenance is required, it is scheduled outside of dinner service and notified in advance.

Subscription fees are billed monthly, in advance, in the currency agreed at sign-up. Applicable taxes are added. Non-payment past a reasonable notice window may suspend the service.

Either party may end the agreement with two weeks' notice. On termination, restaurant data is exported and then deleted from Aplateful within thirty days.

Aplateful's aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the fees paid by the restaurant in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of competent jurisdiction where the service provider is registered.

Material changes to these terms are notified to active restaurants by email at least two weeks before they take effect.
